CRI has approximately 150 employees, almost half of which are civil engineers and scientists. The CRI staff graduated in different national and international schools (e.g. Egypt, Japan, Italy, United States of America, and China). The well experienced young and middle management cadre in addition to the excellent technical, administrative/financial and logistic staff are behind the achievement of CRI.
CRI has four technical departments and several administrational ones. CRI occupies two buildings at the campus of NWRC at Kanater city, the first, the institute building, is for technical office and administrative works and the other is for the laboratories
